Day 18: Favorite Place to Eat

My favorite place to eat is at home, or where ever I am that I can cook my own food. I like being able to make exactly what I want! You just can't beat home cookin! BUT if I was to choose a favorite restaurant it would probably be a tie between Romeo's and Cracker Barrel.

You can't beat Romeo's unlimited soup, salad and bread sticks... it's cheap and it's delicious! Cracker barrel has just about everything you ever wanted. Plus the warm environment, table games, and sweet tea make a tough place to beat.

Day 17: Something You're Looking Forward To

Right now I am looking forward to nice weather... it's been a long long winter here in Montana... and I am so sick of it. Many people say oh this is Montana stop complaining about the weather... But I'm from here most people aren't so to all of you who have told me things like that... you can shut it... you probably aren't even a true Montanan! I hate winter and snow gets old real fast... I guess that's what happens when you grow up with long winters all your life, you begin to hate them. They lose their beauty and luster... soon after Christmas. March is the worst... it's always a mix of snow, rain and sun all combining to make everything slushy, muddy, wet and gross everywhere you go.... and do I even need to mention all the potholes?!?!?!?! They were so bad this year my car about disappeared in them a couple times....

They are basically going to have to rebuild the entire road system of Missoula. BUT March is now coming to a close and the days have slowly started to get warmer... I've even been privileged to see the sun on a couple of occasions. So things are starting to look up, but I'm really looking forward to those nice warm days when I can wear flip flops and not have to worry about walking in snow or mud or a combination of both.

Day 16: Dream House!

I love Victorian style houses and southern colonial style houses.... so obviously my dream house would be a combination of both! I love turrets and the elegance of a Victorian styled home... and I love the shutters and pillars of a southern colonial style home.... so without further adieu here are some picture of houses that contain the qualities found in my dream house....

Day 15: Bible Verse

The king is enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord.
Psalm 45:11

There are many great verses in the Bible, but I stumbled over this one yesterday. The King is enthralled by your beauty..... WHAT for real?!?!?! My beauty...... the Lord the King of heaven and earth is enthralled by my beauty.... Wow... why? It's kind of hard to believe and grasp what that really means.... but I love it! Yeah think about that one! If only everyone could know and believe that in the depths of their hearts and live as though it's true.....

Day 14: A Picture of You Last Year - How Have You Changed?

This picture was taken during spring break last year... so basically one year ago exactly. I don't think I've changed much, especially not in appearance. My hair is a little different I don't have as many awesome layers anymore... and I've lost 10lbs but those are the only things that are different in appearance... BUT where I am in life is quite different. I graduated from college and am about to move to Arizona to start Physical Therapy school. With that I am becoming more responsible for myself and my decisions. This life change is also causing a lot of stress, but gold is refined in the fire. ALSO, I am an aunt now. My adorable nephew Noah Barrett Wheatley was born in December and gets cutter everyday! So, all in all this year I've gone through some growing up and gaining of new titles and am about to embark on the biggest life change ever to hit this small town girl....

5. I want to be a mom some day....

Day 10: Something You're Afraid Of

One of my biggest fears has to do with driving.... mostly driving on the highway and in places I'm not familiar with... which is everywhere besides Missoula and Clinton. I know of multiple reasons that caused this fear. I remember that all throughout my childhood I hated semi trucks and still do. I would have dreams night after night about the trailer of a semi falling over on the car I was riding in. Weird I know. Also, my dad is a big fan of the outdoors and we drove up in the mountains a lot and I remember pretending to be asleep on these drives so I didn't have to look out the window which only unveiled the cliff off that side of the road. I also experienced many other things... hydroplaning, hitting a deer and many slips and slides in the snow and ice... My fear of driving only continued as I got my drivers license and totaled my first car in a freak accident coming home from work late one night on the highway. I was on my way home when I noticed a car off to the right of the road with it's four way flashers on and so I way going to get over into the passing lane.... looked over my shoulder to make sure no one was there and hit a car that was conveniently parked in the passing lane on the highway....I was going 65... I didn't get injured which was amazing. Then my next car I also totaled when I lost control going over an icy bridge on the highway causing me to slam into a guard rail which spun me across the road into the median which I then turned and went back out of the median and across the road... finally stopping.. or so I thought until my car started going over the hill... at that point I jumped out and the car ran into a fence at the bottom of the hill. So there you have it.. probably my biggest fear... I basically drive like a grandma now..... my average speed for the highway in the winter is 45... not even joking!

Day 9: A Favorite Picture of Your Best Friend

Once again I have a case of indecisiveness..... how can I pick a favorite picture of my best friend.... so here's a few!!!!!!!!!
Awwwww my BF Zach and I
This made my favorite list for so many reasons.... I just love how Jess's hair is attacking her face... and we all just look awesome!!!!! This was such a fun trip to CA!
Zach being a rockstar.... like usual

Jess' wedding!
One of our many wonderful times at the man cave!
We are pretty hardcore if you couldn't tell.... why do I have a knife at Jordan's neck you ask..... well stop asking stupid questions.......
Ummmm basically the cutest little guy ever! This is Zach when he was little..... awwwwwww

Day 8: A Place You've Traveled To

Well I have done some traveling in my day! But there has been no trip like my trip to Bangkok, Thailand with my church during the summer of 06!!!! It was amazing there we were placed in the midst of a country we didn't know surrounded by people who all looked alike speaking a language that sounded like rap music.... We did a lot of outreach and even got to do the tourist thing. Some of my personal highlights were eating chicken butt and giant grasshoppers, praying over sick babies in a tree house/church in the middle of the jungle by candle light, singing worship in Thai... or trying to at least, helping out with an English camp where the schedule they gave us was written in Thai=constant confusion, going to breakfast at our hotel and getting the western breakfast that contained heart shaped hotdog pieces, our group always being too heavy for the elevator to work, singing Making Melodies in My Heart with my roommate Jess Chai while looking out over the Bangkok lights and teaching high five and pound... and Jesus to a bunch of beautiful Thai orphans..... and doing our puppet show for them.... and..... well there were so many amazing moments on that ten day trip that I had to go back the following summer for the whole summer... so there's no way to list them all here! But that's my story about Bangkok..... one of the best places in the world!!!!

Day 6: A Picture of Something That Makes You Happy

This picture always makes me smile! There's a whole website of these pictures with captions.... I don't remember what it is though. But they just fit my humor so wonderfully! I will share more of the ones I have saved with you......

I think I enjoy them so much because they are so random and resemble the way I draw..... stick figures! Oh goodness! I hope you enjoyed them as much as I do! hahahahaha

Day 5: A Song To Match Your Mood

This song is wonderful and matches my mood 100%! Today has been rough and long to say the least.... This song talks about not being good enough and falling short, but in the midst of that God being there and loving us despite our shortcomings. So even though today sucked and I meet the end of the day defeated, burnt out, irritated, and a little down I know that Jesus is still there for me... that there will always be one who truly loves and cares for me all day everyday... even when I feel defeated, burnt out, irritated, and down! He is all I truly need.

Day 4: Your Parents

Introducing Richard Basset Wheatley and Tambry Thanda Wheatley..... These are my parents two wonderful people who have done way too much for me! My dad has worn many hats throughout my life..... he taught me to dance, hunt, and fish... introduced me to Novo Combo's Up Periscope, and was the rockstar who inspired me to become a musician. He has been in many bands my favorite of which I believe was called Sundance.... it was a Christian worship band in the 90s.... I had their tape... it was pretty awesome. He has worked at the post office all my life and loves chocolate covered pecan clusters. He is a big time outdoors man and enjoys hunting, fishing and hiking.

My mom is probably the sweetest lady anyone will ever meet. She has done so much for me and supports me through everything! Usually we get along like best friends. She used to work at a Little Debbie's factory/shop when she was younger. She taught me my ABC's, inspired me to become a gymnast (as she was one in high school) and introduced me to my first love... grape jello! Now she works at a law firm as an accountant where she enjoys getting coffee out of their new fancy Starbucks machine. She also enjoys the outdoors and goes hunting, fishing and hiking with my dad. She also likes numbers and doing my taxes......

With parents like these how can you not turn out wonderful..... my point exactly :)

Day 3: Your First Love

My first love... well I think this is kind of vague.... I'm not sure if it is wanting a man or what because my first love was definitely grape jello. I guess I can make this whatever I want so I'm going to cover all of my first loves!

Before men were even in the picture there was grape jello! Need I say more.... it's pretty hard to beat grape jello!
After grape jello... well my first love was a movie star... he's strong... loving... protective... handsome...awesome... really everything my young heart desired.....yes... I loved Sylvester Stallone...

But don't we all have movie stars that we grow up in love with? My first love that wasn't a movie star and wasn't grape jello was a man I don't even really remember his name.... I think it was John. When I was little probably around 5-6 maybe even younger I don't really know.... but let me tell you this story. It was the first camp I had ever gone to... I was nervous, shy and scared out of my mind. It was only a YMCA day camp but still. Anyway first day of camp..... the leader of my group walks in and I fell in love. He's probably like 50 now hahahahahahahaha! Anyway, I thought he was the hottest man that walked the planet, besides Sylvester Stallone, and he was so nice and wonderful. When I went home from camp I made a diary by stapling some pieces of paper together and there I professed my love for him. I'm such a hopeless romantic hahaha! I colored pictures of us together with lots of hearts and then camp ended.... and so did our love.....BUT I do have one more first love who is still with me and will be forever and I'm so glad! His name is Jesus! We've been through a lot and he still thinks I'm awesome and even beautiful. He's so good to me and will forever remain my true first love.

Day 2: The Meaning Behind Your Blog Name

                             http://iplot.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/2008/04/18/boredom.jpg
A Moment of Boredom is the name I chose for my blog because I created my blog during a five hour layover in the Seattle airport..... You can only people watch for so long before you start being the creepy person everyone starts to notice and avoid. Also, it is only in my moments of boredom that I'm going to be able to blog. Which is nice because I often find that it's in the moments of boredom that I find myself reflecting over things and doing my best thinking. I never thought I would have a blog... when I think blogger I think computer geek... but none the less here I am.... I guess that's what boredom can do to you!
